Organize PDF pages
See every page of your PDF as a thumbnail, move pages into the order you want, turn the ones that are sideways and delete the ones you do not need. Then save a new PDF. It all happens in your browser, so the file is never uploaded.
How to organize a PDF
Organize PDF pages without uploading
Scans come out in the wrong order, an appendix ends up in the middle, a page is upside down, or there is a blank page nobody needs. Organize PDF fixes all of that in one place. Drop the PDF and every page appears as a small picture in a grid, in its current order, with its original page number under it. You change the order, turn and delete pages while you look at them, and save a new PDF when it looks right.
The whole job runs in your browser. The PDF is read from your device, the thumbnails are drawn on your device, and the new file is built there too, so a contract, a statement or a scanned ID is never sent to a server. You can work on one PDF at a time, up to 60 MB and 300 pages. Thumbnails appear one after another, so on a long document you can start working on the first pages while the last ones are still being drawn.
Reorder, rotate and delete pages
Each page card has four buttons. The left arrow moves the page one place back and the right arrow one place forward. ⟳ turns the page a quarter turn clockwise, and a small badge shows the new angle, such as 90° or 180°. ✕ deletes the page. On a computer you can also drag a page with the mouse and drop it on the place where it should go; on a phone the buttons do the same job.
Above the grid, Reverse order flips the whole document, which helps when a scanner fed the pages from back to front. A counter shows how many pages you are keeping, for example 9 of 12 pages kept. Start over closes the file without saving, so you can begin again with the same PDF or a different one.
A deleted page does not disappear. It stays in its place, faded and marked Deleted, with a Restore button that brings it back. That way you can check what you are about to remove before anything is saved.
If you only need one of these jobs, delete PDF pages and rotate PDF explain that job on its own, with the same grid of pages.
Save the organized PDF
When the pages look right, press Save PDF. The new file holds the pages you kept, in the order shown in the grid, with your rotations applied. It is named after the original with -organized added, so report.pdf becomes report-organized.pdf, and its size is shown before you download it. The file you started with is not changed. Save PDF only works while at least one page is kept; if every page is deleted, the button says Keep at least one page.
Pages are copied into the new PDF as they are, not redrawn as pictures. Text that could be selected and searched before still can be, and images keep their quality. A rotation is saved as part of the page, the same way a PDF reader turns a page, and it adds to any rotation the page already had.
When to use another PDF tool
Organize PDF works on the pages of one file. To put pages from several files together, merge PDF combines them first, and you can then organize the result here. To save only a few pages, or every page as its own file, split PDF does that from a page range. To change the words on a page or add a signature, use the PDF editor. All of them run in your browser in the same way.
A PDF that needs a password to open cannot be organized until the password is removed. The new file does not keep the list of bookmarks some long documents have in the sidebar of a PDF reader.
